I got a nice little sampling of very diverse Viking Art submissions, which I’ve posted below in no particular order.
Please take a little time to review and vote for your favorite in the comments section. One vote per person please. You have to choose just one. The winner will receive a $25 payment for the rights to use their image on this blog, and others may also be purchased as well.

#2! It lends itself to a header, as well as being able to use just the viking head for profile pictures
I vote for #5. I would have voted #2 if the viking was scowling…
I would vote for 5 if it had the name correct. As it stands “The Vocal Viking” is the name of a different blog and perhaps also a student newspaper.
Number 2 is my second choice, but it needs more beard. In some ways l like it best (especially from a usability perspective), but 5 is just fun.
Eric’s art is fantastic, but feels out of place.
For the record, #5 was submitted before I had finalized the name. He offered to correct anything if needed.
#2. I like the playful simplicity of it. #3 and 4 are awesomely beautiful but I just think they are a little serious for a blog.

I like 2 and 5. 2 might be more versatile.
