The kids decided to “sled” down the stairs repeatedly on a slippery blanket, giggling all the while. Then they opened an umbrella behind them to see if it slowed them down.
I really love my kids.

Tucked the kids in tonight. I always try to leave them with a positive thought to help them have good dreams.
Me: “What do you kids think you will dream about tonight?”
Danger Monkey, age 7: “My favorite TV show.”
Little Miss Thing, age 4: “I’m going to dream about you, Daddy. Or poop.”
Me: “Sorry, kids. The dogs chewed up the Rock Band microphone. I don’t think we can play Rock Band anymore.”
Danger Monkey, age 6: “We still have the guitars and drums.”
Little Miss Thing, age 4: “We can still Rock.”
