Roasted a chicken today in the slow cooker. Chopped up an onion, enough to cover bottom of slow cooker. Set the chicken on onions. Shake on just a little bit of salt, pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, thyme, oregano, cumin, and mustard powder. Then cover with a layer of paprika. Cook on low for 8 hours and it’s perfect. So much juice it’s hard to believe I didn’t add any liquid. SO EASY! Literally just falls off the bones.
