FYI – I’ll be out of the loop for the next few days. We start the intake process this morning for My Oldest Girl’s heart surgery, so it’s going to be a roller coaster of a week.
We’ve got everything we could need at this point so thanks for all the offers but positive thoughts and hugs are always welcomed!
P.S. For the record, I strongly suspect that my 11 year old daughter is more brave than me. In fact, I’m certain of it.
My Oldest Girl told me tonight that she wants to find a book on how to learn to read and speak Klingon, and she thinks Big Bang Theory is the best show ever made. I think we may have created a geek, my friends.
I think My Oldest Girl is dealing better with her upcoming heart surgery than I am. Which is not difficult to do, truth be told.
Last night she told me that if anyone asks about her scars, she’s going to tell them, “Up until recently, I was a pirate.” Second Runner Up is, “I get into a lot of knife fights.”
