So… I took MOG to chess club at the library tonight. She learned a lot but mainly giggled with a new girl friend she met. I, however, almost lost at chess to a 10 year old boy. He had me on the ropes but I suckered him into taking my rook while I snuck a checkmate at the other end of the board. I haven’t played in 20 years, so maybe I’ll try to brush up before I take on a re-match…  or… shudder… an adult.
