My WW made all 3 kids hobbit costumes for GenCon. There just happened to be a “green screen” booth that put fun backgrounds on your pictures, so… we now have picture of our little hobbits in the Shire. It’s so geeky, it hurts. Hurts… SO GOOD.

Coiled Again
When trying to describe a special watering hose to Danger Monkey, the phrase “coiled hose” just wasn’t sinking in. So the WW told him it was “like the cord on a phone handset.”
He gave her the most incredulous look.”PHONES DON’T HAVE CORDS!”
We both started laughing as we realized at age 3, he’s never seen a phone with a cord.
Yay for progress. Where’s my flying car?
My Pretty
Just finished Wizard of Oz with My Oldest Girl, her first viewing. She thought it was scary but cool. WW and I chuckled all through it. It was fun seeing it through fresh eyes.
