The new Star Trek is pretty good! Faithful but not too faithful characters, lots of nods to the original series, solid and interesting plot… but a little too much fast action and WAY too many bright lights shining into the camera. What’s up with that? I really thought I would dislike the movie on principle but it won me over. I’m actually excited at the prospect of new life in the franchise.
