How late did your kids let you sleep this morning? My Oldest Girl was on strict orders to not wake us until 7:00 am. She was at my side shaking me at 7:01. We had to shake the boy to wake him up. I guess at age 3 he doesn’t really know what to expect yet. That will change next year, I’m sure.

My Pretty
Just finished Wizard of Oz with My Oldest Girl, her first viewing. She thought it was scary but cool. WW and I chuckled all through it. It was fun seeing it through fresh eyes.
Die later… check.
So, at dinner MOG says, “I hope you die when I’m a lot older because I’ll be able to deal with it better.”
She scares me a little sometimes with how mature she can be about things. She’s so smart and has been through a lot already at age 8. Heart surgery, parents divorcing, grandparents dying, etc. She just seems to take it all in stride and keeps her head up. She’s amazing.
And, as for her request… that’s the plan, kiddo. That’s the plan.
