Little Miss Thing, age 6: “Can I play with this keyboard?”
Me: “Sure.”
LMT: “What is CMD?”
Me: “That is an abbreviation for COMMAND.”
LMT: (eyes light up) “I have LOTS of commands to give!” (furious typing)
Me: “Oh God, what have I done?”
Little Miss Thing, age 6: “Can I play with this keyboard?”

Tonight was Little Miss Thing’s very first Girl Scout bridging ceremony!
When it was her turn to cross the bridge and she was asked to tell the assembled crowd what she liked most about Girl Scouts, without hesitation she said, “Eating the snacks.”
That’s my girl.

Little Miss Thing, age 6: “Can we go now?”
Me: “I’m almost done.”
LMT: “You don’t have to eat all of it, you know.”
Me: “Yes… yes I do.”
