I spent the weekend running around in the woods, hitting people with foam rubber swords. I am happily exhausted and remarkably happy. I highly recommend LARPing… If you’re cool enough.

Proud
MOG loved GenCon so much she insisted on wearing her con badge to summer camp today to show off to the other kids. After our zombie LARP on Friday and walking the dealer floor in her hobbit costume, she did the Girl Scouts workshop on Saturday and got two badges for her vest. She says they played D&D at the Girl Scout workshop and she loved it.
Sniff, sniff… Geek Dad is so proud!

Just signed up me and MOG for a child/parent Zombie LARP at GenCon. Don’t know all the details but I think the parents dress up like zombie teachers and the kids have to figure out how to get out of the school. It may be the most awesome thing I’ve ever heard of in my life. Rock on, GenCon… rock on.
