Best Xmas present to myself EVER… Purging my clutter. What an amazing array of emotional baggage in the form of “important” papers. Today I let go of three speeding tickets, 2 heart surgeries, breast cancer bills, divorce paperwork, job offers and rejections, tax penalties, arguments and broken promises, bad credit scores, and god knows what else. I have never felt so free in my life. Highly recommended.

Die later… check.
So, at dinner MOG says, “I hope you die when I’m a lot older because I’ll be able to deal with it better.”
She scares me a little sometimes with how mature she can be about things. She’s so smart and has been through a lot already at age 8. Heart surgery, parents divorcing, grandparents dying, etc. She just seems to take it all in stride and keeps her head up. She’s amazing.
And, as for her request… that’s the plan, kiddo. That’s the plan.
Date Night, Daddy style
I’m really looking forward to a fun evening tonight with my favorite friend, MOG (My Oldest Girl).
I know divorce is horrible and all that, but one upside is the girl and I spend more dedicated, quality one-on-one time together now than we ever did.
Silver linings, and all that.
