MOG’s birthday party: 8 girls in my house, ages 8 through 10, playing beauty spa and screaming. A lot.

Little girls scream. They scream A LOT.

I love being the parents that throw fun creative birthday parties. She’s certainly loving it.

I, however, may need therapy. Like, Jack Daniels therapy.

I’m at my desk with 1-month old LMT on my hip. She’s quietly watching me type (one-handed) and I”m enjoying her happy gurgles. I’m also really enjoying the smell of Danger Monkey’s birthday brownies baking for his party this afternoon. I’m pretty happy, actually. Life is good.

  1. We moved into our new house Jun 1st, then bought it on Jun 25th. Yes, backwards — but we have to be difficult. Still unpacking.
  2. Finalizing arrangements for our wedding later this month.
  3. Midwife checkup yesterday; WW is doing great and baby is healthy and due ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!
  4. Scheduling nervous breakdown for later this year. What day is good for you?
