New house rule: “You absolutely may not use the word ‘poop’ when hand writing a birthday card.”
Always good to make these things official. They don’t mention this in the parenting books, but they should.

Little Miss Thing wrote “MAMA” today on a piece of paper and gave it to the Wonderful Wife as “a birthday card.” We were shocked because we didn’t know she could write anything but her own name.
Huh.
I wonder what else she can do.
