I got up a little earlier than normal for a Saturday and made a big breakfast for me and the kids. Fried potatoes, biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs. We ate like little piggies. Now the kids are romping around in the apartment while the wife does her knitting and I’m sitting on the couch just playing on the Intertubes. A nice day, really.

I am happy to announce the girl’s heart stenonis has not grown very much since her last checkup, so they don’t think she’ll need surgery any time soon. Still will probably need heart surgery. Just not in 2009. So… that feels like a victory, right? Or at least a breather.
Ogre me this
I just have to tell the world how incredibly pumped I am about playing an Ogre this coming weekend. A friend created a cool live-action adventure for kids instead of a boring old haunted house. And, any good adventuring party needs an Ogre to fight… so… here I am. And I think I’m a natural. I’ve been growing my beard out for 2 months just for this.
