Overheard at 14th birthday party…
“What if the most beautiful person in the world asked you to marry them?”
My Oldest, age 13: “Do I love them?”
Girl: “Doesn’t matter. They are the most person in the world. How would you say no to that?”
Oldest: “You open your mouth and say… No.”
Little Miss Thing, age 5: “When I grow up, I’m going to travel the whole world. But I’m going to live in Tennessee so I can see Molly.”
Wonderful Wife: “Good plan.”
LMT: “But I will come visit you sometimes. And I REALLY MEAN IT.”
Me: “Was that a threat?”
WW: “Yeah, I think it was.”
While I can’t say I recommend the experience… watching someone do a spit take with cherry NyQuil certainly makes for a memorable evening.
