Today I read the family my 1981 holiday classic, “The Year Santa Had A Little Too Many.” In one short page, the story includes not just the titular inebriation, but also five international flights, a divorce, two wizards, time travel, and the President of the United States. I really showed my writing talent early. I just wish my sixth grade teacher would have laughed half as much as my kids just did.
