Is it just me, or does driving through an empty Atlanta at 2 AM feel a lot like tiptoeing through Moria?

Me: “No kick fighting allowed in the van.”
My Oldest, age 13: “Let’s all drink Monster power drinks and drive straight through.”
Danger Monkey, age 7: “Hey! Who just punched me in the face?”
Me: “No, you are five years old. You do not get a turn driving.”

Which was your favorite?

Picked up My Oldest, age 13, in front of her middle school with my car blaring Black Sabbath.

She leaped in and yelled, “Let’s do this!!!”

I may have squealed the tires a bit as we pulled away.

Down the road, she said, “That may have been the most badass exit from a middle school ever.”

Maybe, this makes up for yelling, “MAKE GOOD CHOICES!” when I drop her off in the mornings.
