Surgery totally complete. She’s in post-op and we’ll get to see her soon. Breathing tube is out early and everything went best case scenario. Such a relief. Now just a lot of healing.

Surgery Successful
The heart repair is done and everything looks great. They still have to close it all up, which is no small matter, but the truly tricky bit is done and successful.
Pre-Op
Six hours of pre-op meetings, testing, tours and more meetings. Thanks to the wonderful folks at the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and St. Vincent’s Pediatric Heart Hospital, but I’m exhausted. And I’m not the one who got poked, prodded and scanned mercilessly all day.
