Fathers Day 2011

My fathers gave me my sense of humor, my love of learning and a reverence for humility. I try to live each day to give my kids at least as much and, on good days, maybe even more. Being a father is the most difficult, unforgiving and ugly project I have ever tackled. Which is all a small price for having three brilliant, beautiful children genuinely believe I can do anything.

Looking for Adventure

Walking and running and standing and sparring all weekend makes for sore muscles, but great memories. It has occurred to me that I spent all weekend pretending to be someone else – and now, sitting all day at my cubicle, inside a cold building… I feel like I’m trapped in someone else’s life. Who is this boring desk jockey? I am a man of adventure.
